Our Mission

SPARSH Global exists to glorify the Father by caring for the people of Pune, India, with special attention given to slum populations.  SPARSH Global accomplishes this mission by supporting the work of SPARSH India (a charitable Society organized under the laws of the State of Maharastra, India) which undertakes many activities, including (a) the establishment and operation of feeding and educational programs within slum neighborhoods to ensure that children without resources, street children, and/or orphaned children are receiving meals, school tutoring, and spiritual encouragement; and (b) the establishment of residences for children of commercial sex workers, street children, and/or orphaned children, providing shelter, schooling, nurturing, and spiritual encouragement.  All donations made to SPARSH Global go directly to these projects, with any administrative or fundraising costs borne by SPARSH Global Board members.
